Page 05 - Animation Thumbnails

Here is Dumpo the Magician, simply drawn in pencil and scanned.

Page 06 - Shapes

I tried to really focus on the shapes in these drawings. All were hand drawn and scanned, and all colour excepting the bird in the shower was added in Photoshop.

Page 07 - Doodles

These doodles were drawn by hand and coloured with pencil crayons.

Page 08 - Laurita

Page 09 - Animals

Page 11 - Animal Paintings

All of these were painted in Photoshop, though the bird and the deer were sketched out by hand first and scanned in. The bear is the product of a challenge - to produce an image containing these three things: cup, bear, noodle.

Page 12 - Effects And Backgrounds

At left and middle top are two frames of pixie dust animation, done in pen and composited in Toon Boom Harmony. The three images at the lower left are from my student film, drawn in pencil, coloured in Photoshop, and composited in Toon Boom Harmony. The remaining two backgrounds and two buildings were done entirely in Photoshop.

All of these were done entirely in Photoshop.

Page 14 - Stylized Animals

All of these were done in pen and ink, and tweaked in Photoshop, except for the three lower-most cats. Those were done entirely in Photoshop.

Page 15 - Silly Faces

These faces are all drawn, in Photoshop, on stock photos I found on sites like Getty Images and Corbis.
